Abstract:
From 2010 onwards, public action in the area of food underwent numerous transformations which led the Ministry of Agriculture to take a strong position on the subject. In this context, the question of the territorialization of public policy is becoming increasingly important, and in 2014 a new instrument is dedicated to the territorial anchoring of food : the Territorial Food Projects (PAT). A mechanism for recognition of PATs by the Ministry of Agriculture is created in order to promote these initiatives and contribute to their dissemination. The article analyzes the conditions under which PATs have spread, and seeks to shed light on the reasons why the recognition system has so far not allowed wide ownership by local actors. The urban or rural character of the territories is discussed with regard to its heuristic value for understanding the interest of the actors in the device.
