Abstract:
Based on several studies on experimentation and social innovation, this article presents an analysis of the processes of trivialization of social innovations through appropriation and institutionalization. Focusing primarily on the field of social policy, two main ideas are put forward. The first is based on the hypothesis of the diversification of forms of protection and social intervention through experimentation and social innovation. The second presents the inevitable trivialization of innovation as a continuous process of appropriation and institutionalization. This dialogical process connects social innovation and institutional innovation by a double movement of recognition and normative regulation. JEL Codes : O35, I38, P48
