Abstract:
A tourism project for sustainable development has been set up in Swaneti (Georgia) in a country where tourism business has been for long centralized by "Intourist". Connected to a strong tradition of welcoming the traveller, tourism is settling again in his mountainous country of Mestia together with a development of the local heritage and a share of power and coordination between the different actors.
