Les effets de la formation sur l'emploi en milieu rural péruvien

Pascale Phelinas

Mondes en développement, 2006, vol. 134, issue 2, 33-47

Abstract: This paper analyzes the effects of education on rural employment in Peru. The inequalities between individuals regarding the time spent on education and on vocational training results in strong disparities in the forms of employment and the quality of the jobs occupied. The results also indicate that the probability of access to a qualified job heavily depends on accessibility of rural areas resulting from the proximity of urban markets or from the quality of infrastructure communication.
