Socio-économie de l'environnement et du développement durable: état des lieux et perspectives

Bruno Boidin () and Bertrand Zuindeau ()

Mondes en développement, 2006, vol. 135, issue 3, 7-37

Abstract: This article proposes a critical assessment of the socio-economic approaches of environment and sustainable development. Unlike the standard analysis which does not admit the embeddedness of economic, social and environmental dimensions, the socio-economic approaches seek to conceptualize these interrelations. Though they offer promising perspectives, they come up against difficulties which still limit concrete proposals.
