Abstract:
The Iroise marine park project is part of the important current movement of creation of Marine Protected Areas throughout the world. In the developing countries, the difficulties encountered by AMPs were often being attributed to "a bad" governance. However, the example of Iroise shows that, even in a developed country affirming to practise "participatory governance", the creation process of an AMP can reveal some deficiencies.
