Abstract:
Over the last decades common pool resource management has been developed increasingly. This paper focuses on the development of common pool forest management in French speaking subsaharian african countries, in a way of sustainability. It analyses the main stakes facing by forest management. It mainly underlines four stakes : the antagonism between representation of the forest, the antagonism between logic of property rights, the weak participation of local population, and the lack of coherence of public policies.
