Abstract:
Child labor situation in Morocco is very diversified from a professional (kinds of jobs) and regional (socio-territorial context) point of view. The article analyzes the confrontation between modern values and those coming from the tradition as regards the fight against child labor. It reports on surveys conducted at the request of a Moroccan micro-credit association, wishing to educate its personnel to children?s rights. We demonstrate that, on the field, operators from the association and artisans which are employing children are opposed to international programs and values promoted especially by the International Labour Office.
