Rôle des infrastructures de transport dans la construction de l’espace économique ouest-africain

Abstract:
This paper analyzes constraints related to transportation infrastructures. It points out the excessive costs of transportation stemming from the pitfalls of geography. These freight costs lead to poor economic performance which reflects low levels of trade and growth. Thus, the inert construction of West-African space is caught up in the inefficiency of infrastructure policies.
