Abstract:
Countries in Europe face massive flows of refugees and migrants resulting from political instabilities in the world. These migratory flows, termed European migrant crisis, make a clear divide among policymakers on how to successfully tackle the crisis. The goal of this paper is to understand the migrant crisis in connection with issues relating to globalization and the institutional failures in the country of origin of migrants. In doing so, we were able to provide some sustainable strategies to resolve the migrant crisis.
