Comment mesurer la contribution de l’énergie à la croissance économique ?

Abstract:
According to neoclassical theory, energy plays a minor role in economic growth and thus could be easily substituted. This way of dealing with energy has been strongly criticized by ecological economists. Some of them have tried to integrate the contribution of thermodynamics into aggregate production functions. This approach is not totally satisfying since physical production and economic value are not clearly separated. We argue that the contribution of energy to economic growth could instead be measured based on its impact on production costs.
