Abstract:
The purpose of this interview is to analyze the way in which health issues have been approached in Mondes en développement, but also to offer a critical perspective of the dominant models of health aid. With regard to the last forty years, the permanence of certain ideas, despite their questionable nature, is highlighted. The failures of the dominant paradigms and associated policy instruments have not led to real reorientations of health policies. Behind this reality, strategic individual and collective interests, on the part of experts and institutions, are brought up to date. However, some perspectives emerge through innovative experiences in the field and research seeking to realistically assess the drivers of success and the obstacles of the programs.
