Abstract:
Adult vocational training generates many hopes as regards to individual labor market histories, as well as to firms? productivity. However, empirical evaluations show that vocational training cannot solve all the issues of the labor market. In France those issues are all the more salient as the funding schemes of vocational the training system are suboptimal, and should be reformed.
