2. Police économique: le petit commerce pornographique sous l'œil de la police, 1965-1971

Baptiste Coulmont

Regards croisés sur l'économie, 2014, vol. n° 14, issue 1, 25-37

Abstract: Until 1973, pornographic commerce in France was a clandestine one. It is closely watched by the police des m?urs. Using police reports and texts, this article shows that this police, which seems political and moral, is in fact akin to an economic police. Policemen are describing a series of practices as a market, exchanges and organization.
