4. La dette publique, un problème politiquement construit ?

Abstract:
The sociological literature on the ?construction of public problems? sheds light on the debt debate. The key role of public debt in the political debate cannot be reduced to its intrinsic gravity. It also comes from a communication campaign launched in France in the mid of the 2000s which highlighted a peculiar vision of the public debt. This vision is now dominant in the mass media and in the political debate and is sometimes considered erroneous.
