Abstract: If economists are relatively few committing in a political career in France, the political field becomes, after 1960, an objective possibility for rival forms of economic expertise. In this space, trajectories related to the ministry of finance maintain a temporal and spiritual hegemony, diffusing a doxa which appears quite stable, staying the same through changes in conjonctures and governments.
