9. L’Entrepreneuriat des femmes: motivations et obstacles

Anne Boring

Regards croisés sur l'économie, 2016, vol. n° 19, issue 2, 130-142

Abstract: Women are a minority among entrepreneurs. While their taste for entrepreneurship is similar to men?s, women face specific obstacles which discourage them from pursuing an entrepreneurial endeavor. The fact that entrepreneurship remains mainly associated with male stereotypes is a major obstacle for women. Norms are changing, however, and women are increasingly becoming entrepreneurs. More research is required to better understand entrepreneurship by women.
