Abstract:
This paper aims to explain the reasons why the WTO is experiencing ever greater difficulties in carrying out the missions for which it was created, namely monitoring national trade policies and conducting trade negotiations. As a result, these increasing difficulties raise new challenges for the Organization and put the multilateral trading system at risk.
