Abstract:
Digital technology and platform business models have transformed privacy. The old notion of privacy as penetration into a person?s intimate space has given way to privacy ?as negotiation?: contextual, evolving, and depending on each person?s social environment. This negotiation must be collective and associate the rights of users with the general stakes of the data economy and data labor.
