1. Les deux visages de la concurrence
Jean Beuve
Regards croisés sur l'économie, 2019, vol. n° 25, issue 2, 14-23
Abstract:
Competition supposedly has a disciplinary power over the behavior of firms, providing them with incentives to perform and innovate. However, it can also encourage them to try to protect themselves by relying on anticompetitive practices that are harmful to consumers and to society as a whole. This gives a crucial role to the institutions in charge of guaranteeing competition.
