Abstract:
The successive reforms of the economics and social sciences curriculum in French high schools have deeply modified both the pedagogical approach of the discipline and course content. In this context, this article examines the way in which the market is studied and the importance given to competition within the curriculum. It then considers the effects of these evolutions on students? understanding of the subject.
