Abstract:
Technological progress has not made work disappear, but it has changed its remuneration. Under the influence of computerization and automation, wage inequalities have increased, and the labor market has become polarized. The arrival of artificial intelligence is likely to widen inequalities in the future, affecting occupations that have thus far been spared.
