Abstract:
In this article, attractiveness is seen as a strategic orientation that legitimizes local and national public policies. It is in line with the spirit of competitiveness that has been promoted by public action since the beginning of the century. The latest step concerns the quest for territories to have a greater ?appeal,? which is probably reinforced as a political choice, even if it is difficult to measure. However, operations aimed at improving the appeal of territories are used in various and scattered ways.
