Le star-system dans les industries culturelles: comment l’expliquer ?

Abstract:
Empirical evidence of the star system in cultural industries shows a double phenomenon of concentration: on one hand, consumption on a limited number of products available to the final consumer, on the other distribution of earnings to stars’ advantage. Economic analysis explains this phenomenon by using microeconomics’ concepts (consumers’ preferences, technology, resource scarcity, network effects, uncertainty, imperfect information, and so on).
