Abstract:
In a globalization context, American digital platforms attempt to impose themselves on the fast-growing Indian market. From the case of the cultural industries, this interview examines their different adaptation and investment strategies in industrial, economic and technological terms. It also focuses on the influence, the relation of power and the hegemony that these platforms have on the film industry and, more broadly, on transformations introduced by digital players in the Indian economy.
