Abstract:
Affluent consumption is a feature of capitalist developed societies and a social fact that relies on a diversity of market technologies. The price of goods is part of these market technologies insofar as it participates in establishing the value of goods, at all levels of social space. Today, this process of goods valuation is invested by militant organizations which introduce new values into market orders.
