Le déchet peut-il être considéré comme une marchandise ayant une valeur et un prix positifs ?

Sylvie Lupton

Regards croisés sur l'économie, 2023, vol. n° 32, issue 1, 125-132

Abstract: The distinction between what is a good or a waste seems to be crystal clear. Waste has both a subjective and objective definition. Waste depends on how the owner perceives it. Some waste can be considered as a commodity if it respects certain objective criteria. Some waste is also a subject of controversy, as illustrated by the example of urban sewage sludge.
