Abstract:
In France, the renewal of generations of farmers is currently not ensured, with only seven departures out of ten that are replaced. Farm transfer is therefore an important issue. Nevertheless, farmer?s setting up is a complex process. It is not always within the family, toward a designated son, and many drivers play very strongly such as demography, the state of the labor market and social policies. Multidimensional support is therefore necessary to foster farm transfers.
