Abstract:
French agriculture takes part in social and economic dynamics that go beyond the sole food production. The development of anaerobic digestion units positions French agriculture at the interface of agricultural, energy and waste management sectors. Farmers play a leading role in these projects for which they mobilize social, professional and territorial resources. Nevertheless, this agro-energy activity has unevenly distributed impacts across the territory, economic sectors and social groups involved in its development.
