Modèles d'appariement en économie. Quelques avancées récentes

Pierre Chiappori

Revue économique, 2012, vol. 63, issue 3, 437-452

Abstract: While matching models have been used in economics for half a century, they have recently attracted renewed attention. We briefly survey some of these recent developments, restricting our presentation to transferable utility models. In particular, we argue that the main limitation of such models ? that the group?s aggregate behavior does not vary with the internal distribution of powers ? can be bypassed by a simple generalization. We provide an illustration of such a generalized model and discuss its properties. Classification JEL : C78, D11, D13
