Abstract:
Apart from their financial support, what role do international organizations have in projects for modernizing healthcare facilities in the Republic of Moldova? This role depends of the organization?s commitment during the operational phases of the projects funded by the World Bank and European Union for renovating medical facilities in Moldova. When implementing projects, these two institutions participate differently in the process of international transfers of experience. While the World Bank has set up a technical unit for monitoring specifications and terms of service, the European Union has apparently mobilized fewer human and technical resources for these projects.
