Abstract: Four examples illustrate how digital impacts the operating model of financial institutions for their revenue generation streams but also the heart of the value creation itself. Beyond those examples, the author illustrates via examples the changes digital generates, often concurrently with some regulatory changes, under way in the revenue generation mechanism, in the costs management and on the P&L and balance sheet management.
