Abstract:
?Today, the rapid spread of green technologies in many countries constitutes a key challenge, and green businesses are facing a number of obstacles as they try to develop. ? In this context, public policy and the ability of actors to initiate and structure green ecosystems play a crucial role. Strategically, and on many other levels, there is much at stake, requiring careful handling. This article begins with a characterization of the green business sector and moves on to emphasize the decisive role of institutional arrangements and public policy in the emergence, structuring and performance of green innovation ecosystems.
