Abstract:
?Due to their specific properties and to the shared culture that they introduce into every sector of industry, digital tools affect the cooperation strategies of businesses. ? They are of great help in the construction of large scale innovations. Digital platforms and Big Data exploitation have profoundly changed the relationship between businesses and their markets. Nevertheless, the digital world does not alter the core properties of cooperative agreements, or their usefulness or conditions of viability. When we consider the contribution of digital innovations to economic growth, the productivity paradox put forward by Robert Solow about computers re-emerges. We suggest an explanation for its reappearance.
