Abstract: This paper is a first attempt to draw up profiles of companies using crowdfunding according to their position in the life cycle. An empirical study, conducted on Breton VSEs and SMEs financed by crowdfunding, led to two major contributions. From a theoretical point of view, it presents a dynamic approach to the use of crowdfunding by linking the life cycle of the company and the type of financing. From a managerial point of view, he recommends crowdfunding financing solutions based on the characteristics of the company and its position in its life cycle.
