Abstract:
Entrepreneurial failure is a sensitive research topic that remains understudied in the francophone literature. We pay great attention to success stories, startups, and new venture creation, but there is little focus on failure stories, startdowns and the disappearance of new ventures. This paper?which presents an interview that we conducted with Dean Andrew Shepherd about past, current and future research on entrepreneurial failure?calls for more integrative, processual and cross analysis. It also outlines theoretical and methodological challenges for future research on entrepreneurial failure.
