Abstract: The strong development of active pedagogies for teaching entrepreneurship in schools and universities leads us to wonder how to measure their impact on entrepreneurial learning. In this way, this articles aims to identify with an exploratory approach, what are the effects of an active training on student perceptions about entrepreneurial activity. The research is based on an active learning method called MIME that focuses on three key learning mechanisms: the problem situation, the experience and iterative and incremental construction of knowledge. The results show that a method based on active learning can work as a trigger in changing student perceptions on their own beliefs and knowledge about entrepreneurial activity. By acting on the change of perceptions, it plays a motivational accelerator to engage students in a more longitudinal learning process of entrepreneurship. The study results demonstrate the importance of the use of active teaching methods to support students in acquiring the entrepreneurial mindset.
