Abstract:
Longevity of family firms is a puzzle for scholars. Articles of this special issue will shed light on the diversity of its sources. The role of the family dynamics in the longevity is emphasized, without neglecting the diversity of ingredients that can also matter. Last, methodological choices are coined, in order to understand the determinants of its continued existence.
