Abstract:
This study analyzes the evolution of the entrepreneurial self-efficacy perceptions of nascent entrepreneurs over a period of one year. Specifically, it focuses on the impact that support received during the pre-startup phase has on such perceptions. Our results show that, in the context of the specific support program studied, the support has an effect on the perceived ability to carry out the administrative aspects of the projects. Other aspects related to strategy or financing seem hardly affected. Beyond these results, theoretical and practical implications related to the approach used in this study are discussed.
