Revue de l'Entrepreneuriat, 2016, vol. 15, issue 3, 143-162

Abstract: This paper aims at offering a typology of entrepreneurs in the social and solidarity economy (SSE). It?s based on an analysis of a group of 6 classes from 2008 to 2013, candidates for recognition of their entrepreneurial skills through the obtaining of a level diploma bac + 5. Professionalize by a diploma course to SSE entrepreneur is based on the idea that it fills a need at a moment of the course of the entrepreneur of the ESS. Three patterns have emerged: the entrepreneur from the ESS to be legitimized, the entrepreneur converted to the ESS and the entrepreneur of the ESS becoming. This typology of entrepreneurs allows to refine the knowledge of these entrepreneurs of the ESS and can allow to define better the type of support, the public policies supporting the development of this entrepreneurship.
