Abstract:
This paper uses a model developed by T. TABUCHI (1993). It examines simultaneously the travelers? scheduling behavior during peak-period congestion and the commuters modal split between car and mass transit for the journey to work. Contrary to his model, our analysis focuses on travel time costs. In such a case, the aim of our paper is to shed light on efficiency of urban road toll. Classification JEL : R41, R48, L92.
