Abstract: This paper goes beyond simple contiguity in order to estimate the diffusion of spatial growth. It includes factors such us distance, communications infrastructure or population in the spatial weights matrix associated to a ?-convergence regression. Spatial interactions are explained principally by the communications infrastructure. Classification JEL : R11, R12.
