Abstract:
Increasingly many initiatives aim at instigating territories starting - district with the country - from the crafts. That it is a question of developing existing know-how or of supporting the installation of new activities, the « pôles métiers d?art » return to generally intuitive and empirical process of local development. The article proposes a presentation of these processes and conditions of their implementation, before opening a questioning on their theoretical base. Classification JEL : L20, 018, RIO, R30, R58.
