La nouvelle économie spatiale

Gaston Gaudard

Revue d'économie régionale et urbaine, 2004, vol. juillet, issue 3, 453-463

Abstract: Approaches of New Spatial Economy have the merit to be a current essay on globalisation, but it is important to accept its complex character, with the persistence of nuances. In opposition to a simplistic vision of spatial economics, these continue to work respectively, in the rather international or rather regional fields, according to the principle of the relative comparative costs or to the principle of absolute costs. In 2004, the cases of the EMU and of the WTO are worrisome, each one in its own way, in terms of convergence and divergence. Classification JEL : R 12.
