Abstract: The recent changes in the location of the agricultural activities are analysed for the United States and the European Union. The specialization of the production areas and the geographical concentration of the outputs are observed. Finally, the links between the geographical concentration observed effects and the location of the main consumption areas are highlighted. Classification JEL : Q 11, R 30.
