Abstract:
We intend to explore the question of the Barbadian economic cycle from a two-fold perspective. Firstly, we shall attempt to define this cycle, and to create a referential cycle for the Barbadian economy. We shall then move on to a certain number of empirical applications in order to clearly demonstrate the characteristics of the different phases of this cycle and to examine any similarities with those of the United States.
