Abstract:
The goal of this paper is to contribute to understand spatial structuring mechanisms through an analysis of land use patterns in periurban areas. More specifically, it is to study how the existence of a high quality wine has influenced the topography of urbanization. The case of Bordeaux suburban vineyards is an ideal framework for analysis of issues of interaction between urban growth and the presence of a dynamic agricultural specific. Our results confirm the existence of a wine phenomena resistance on specific areas.
