Le développement territorial et les systèmes complexes: proposition d'un cadre analytique

Revue d'économie régionale et urbaine, 2010, vol. octobre, issue 4, 687-705
Abstract:
Complex systems analysis may be used in order to deal with diverse and complex local development. The aim of the paper is to build a comprehensive model based on new trends issuing from regional economics, local governance and policy analysis. Four dynamics emerge : the agents? network, the project implementation, a homogenous space and a governing process. The model is applied to the cross-bordering Franco-Belgian Eurometropole connecting Lille (France), Kortrijk (Flanders) and Tournai (Wallonia).
