Mutations industrielles et dynamiques territoriales

Jacques Perrat

Revue d'économie régionale et urbaine, 2012, vol. février, issue 1, 45-64

Abstract: Industry is still a key-sector for the economical development of our country but it must challenge new environmental requirements. It is the main purpose of the public innovation policies. The regional and local actors are very often short of methodological frames to comprehend those evolutions and especially the impact upon them of scientific and technical innovation devices. The purpose of this paper is to try to fill in such a need. The notion of territorialized complex of competencies that we propose can allow the concerned actors to evaluate the degree of the technoproductive and institutional performances of their territory, but also its capacity to maintain or to improve its position into the global ?hierarchy of places?, especially when confronting the strategy of multinational firms.
