Abstract: Through a survey of all regions of metropolitan France, we are able to establish the quasi-generalization of the practices of subregional contracting and their contribution to engineering territories. After presenting the role of regional budgets of territorial planning, we analyze the terms of contracts, the role performed by the local contractor, the types of funding and the thematic priorities.
